Technology is shaping and defining how we engage with industry. As consumers we need to understand the capacity that technology has to positively disrupt the way that we work, study and interact.
This one day program showcases priority industry areas across Melbourne’s North including Food and Fibre, Advanced Manufacturing, Scientific and Technical and Health and Social Assistance. Students rotate through industry and tech based experiences delivered by Melbourne Polytechnic and Tech school industry-experienced practitioners, showcasing pathways to future study, including VET and careers.
Students will participate in a number of industry linked activities which may include drone flying, virtual reality, podcasting, projection art and systems engineering. They will tour Melbourne Polytechnic’s training facilities, visiting state-of-the-art health simulation suites for Aged Care, Disability and Pathology Laboratory.
