Our Programs

Innovation Process

Our Innovation Process is based on Design Thinking and Solo Taxonomy. These pedagogies underpin all our learning programs.

The Banyule Nillumbik Tech School programs are aligned to the industries predicted to experience strong economic and employment growth. Including Entrepreneurship, Food and Fibre, Health and Social Assistance and Scientific and Technical Services.

Remote Programs

Remote Programs are available to our partner schools outside their point allocation. Partner school teachers are able to access a suite of online curriculum and support resources to run all or part of our previous Core Programs at their school.

After School Activities

Our After-school Programs provide a practical, informal way for young people, teachers, community and industry to engage with science, technology, engineering, art and maths (STEAM).

Professional Development and Targeted Learning

Ongoing co-construction of our core programs is a key element of professional development for teachers, positioning the Tech School as a learning incubator and enabling learning approaches and programs to be implemented in partner school settings.

In addition to our ongoing co-construction of programs, we will be running professional development workshops at the start of each term. These sessions are a prerequisite for teachers booked into our core programs.
