Resource Partner
Whether it’s donating raw materials for a program or supplying equipment or technology to help roll out a particular learning program, a resource partnership can be a great way for industry partners to begin their partnership journey with us.

Protective MotoGear

In partnership with TurnCo and MotoEst

As part of our Protective Moto Gear Program, furniture supplier Turnco donated rolls of fabric that our students used to make custom-made motorbike gear.

Turnco have had the pleasure in dealing extensively with the Banyule Nillumbik Tech School at Melbourne Polytechnic and have been fortunate enough to have supplied commercial furniture for the newly built Tech School back in 2018.
Recently we were tasked with manufacturing a range of custom joinery pieces, designed by the Banyule Nillumbik Tech School’s in house technical team, to accommodate specialised equipment including 3D printers & products used in textile fabrication. We were also glad to arrange a donation of a range of fabrics for use by students in the fibre hub.

STEM Arcade Program Resources

In partnership with Her Place Women’s Museum

As part of our STEM Arcade Design Challenge, Her Place Women’s Museum supplied their STEMpowered exhibit and accompanying video of Lisy Kane to display in our Tech School exhibition space for 6 months (the duration of the program). This resource provided students with an insight into a career in gaming and a relevant STEM role model for their learning experience.
