Last week, a few members of the team were lucky enough to take part in a 2 day workshop lead by industry partner, Little Projector Company. We have been working on projects with LPC for a while now, and most recently we partnered with them and our host Melbourne Polytechnic to develop an interactive projection installation in our exhibition space as well as a few other items. This installation will allow students to explore another medium or piece of technology when developing their prototypes. Projection art expands possibilities for visual communication, with students able to imagine their design as it would sit in the market, as we begin to introduce branding and events into programs.
