Happy New Year colleagues! We trust you have returned to work rejuvenated after a restful break, and that the school year has been off to a flying start.   Our team has been working tirelessly to welcome students back onsite. We have fired up our CNC machine to re-commence building ‘The Growroom’ – a spherical greenhouse with an open source design, that stacks plants and greeneries tier upon tier. We hope it will become an exciting new feature in our central courtyard for students to enjoy.

This week is a busy one, with the return of our afterschool clubs – the Creator Club has commenced face-to-face on Tuesdays, followed by The Lab @ Greensborough on Wednesdays. There are still a couple of spots left in each, if you are interested in participating get in touch quick!  We are also hosting Eltham High School VCE fashion students, who are expanding their fashionista horizons via a bespoke program in wearable technology.

We have consulted in person with many of our partner school teachers about our extensive suite of programs. We still have bookings available during Term 1 – ranging from Design Challenges – Staying Steady, AutoCrops; Food and Fibre Specialist Programs; Inquiries – Biodiverse City, Future Transport; Industry Tech Taster Days; and our flagship Student Start Up – Introduction to Entrepreneurship program.

If you are yet to speak with our Learning Technologists about our 2022 offerings, and how we can meet your school at a point of need, do reach out via the link below.

Furthermore, in Term 1, we will be running a series of online and face-to-face Professional Learning sessions for teachers, as well as our Teacher Ambassador Networking Event with a keynote from In2Sciecne representatives from LaTrobe University. Keep an eye out on comms regarding these events.

We are thrilled to welcome both students and teachers onsite, to solve authentic problems for our Industry partners, use our tech, and partake in meaningful immersive hands-on learning experiences, supported by our team of dedicated STEM experts.

We look forward to working with you all in 2022!
