Another busy fortnight at our Tech School, with visits from Apollo Parkways Primary School and RMIT pre-service teachers participating in hands on practical experiences with our team of experts! Plus the launch of our Design to Innovate professional development program run in partnership with Department of Education for teachers, hosted at Bendigo Tech School!

We’ve put a call out to schools for new students ambassadors. Please let us know if you have students keen to take on leadership roles and represent your school.

Our new after school club – Design Club launches on site next Term. This program, in particular looks to inspire young girls into the world of STEM, however is available to all secondary students in years 7-12.

Finally, next Friday 19 March I will be departing for six months on maternity leave for the birth of my third baby boy! Our Learning Technologist Anthony Gasson who many will be familiar with, will take over as Director. Anthony has a wealth of experience working in several of our partner schools as a leading teacher and expert in Systems Engineering as well as a diverse industry background as a mechanical engineer. Anthony will bring a new set of skills to this leadership role that will be a fantastic enhancement to the great team that has evolved over the past two years.  I wish you all well until my return later in the year!
