Student Ambassadors: Making the Faire Great!
Skylie
In early September student ambassadors started creating, designing, planning and preparing for the Maker Faire, designing invitations, name tags, printing T-shirts, creating giveaways and more.

With 500 people on site, student ambassadors stepped into a variety of vital roles such as check-in and activity assistants, guides, surveyors, film crew, executive assistant and Master of Ceremonies. Working alongside Tech school staff, ambassadors prepared spaces, assisted participants to engage with technology, encouraged the movement of students throughout the Tech School, addressed questions on STEM and captured the event on camera. Ambassadors also set up catering and ensured that all participants were having a good time. The commitment of student ambassadors enabled the day to run smoothly and helped Primary School students and teachers to have fun with all things STEM.
